One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

We have standards in stock but are sold out of the UL's.  We can still get them though (AFIK).  Steve here should be able to order in one for you as well.

They are a good Ultralight (not just Light), but they are difficult to roll up.  Everything else is there in spades!

I've yet to ever see a picture of one...just a sketch drawing of them.
Are the colors the same as the std's?

anyone know if the sail is any different from the std?... maybe a reframe is a good solution.?
perhaps Mr. Bell could chime in, if he sees this.  Cool

I reframed a soul with dynamic t10 and it's a whole lot lighter.
Flies pretty good too! All the fittings are all loosey goosey though...
And the leading edge is very slightly damaged.
I'm just considering selling the one I reframed and buying a real one.

I'll talk to Keith next time I see him.
He wanted a standard Soul and got sent the UL version instead.
He finds the UL hard to yo-yo, but is a novice and a bit heavy-handed.
Maybe a swap will work out for you both.

That would be awesome!
I like my std so I would just put the original frame back in the other one.
Other than the tiny tears in the leading edge spreader pockets...which have been repaired and are barely noticable...it's basically mint...still crispy.

Thnx!

Hi everyone,

The Soul UL roles up very easy by larger movements in a flic flac you just have to give enough slack and move quickly to role the kite up, in low winds you can do the trick easy. I have 4 Souls - Soul vented, Soul UL, STD Soul Mk1, Std Soul MK 2 - current version, my son and I realised that my Std Souls didn't fly the same, Soul 1 purchased in the US, Soul 2 purchased in Australia. The UL version actually took me 6 months to work out because it didn't fly the same as the Std or the vented, but now I love it. Value for money the Soul range of kites are as good as most of the amazing custom made $ 350 - 500 kites that I have purchased over the last 8 years- I only have 40 kites but flying kites is highly addictive. The kite in my opinion is a great UL kite with a twist because of the two standoff settings, float mode requires a experience flyer and a slightly different head space if you know what I mean..
