The active setting is high up towards the nose......
The stable setting is about an inch ± towards the tail....
What helps this kite become stable is that the edges would fold back - it never really becomes stable....
It excels in flight off a branching line as in my video above....the top most one is bridled more to the stable setting and the rest are high up the nose...to fly one as a single Frido was anticipating active flight like a wala or long bottom pterodactyl (it was not great at that).....
Mostly single color icarex...there were a whole bunch made that had a jack-o-lantern type face on them.....the face did not help the flight......
