Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

When you bring a kitebag along when you go car shopping, to see if it fits.

I forgot to bring the kitebag when I bought my Magnum, but I remembered that my R-Sky bag is basically as long as I am tall, so I folded down the rear seats and stretched out in the back, to make certain the trunk would close over me... if I fit, the bag would fit, too!

When you sink the money, that you said not more than a short while ago was absolutely crazy to spend on a KITE, into a kite!!

Minutes later you are in a field, flying your new investment, and you can't wipe the smile off of your face!!

Abilene Texas   Late Summer 1990. Purchased a Bob Childs  Wizard from Windswept Kites, Sayles Blvd, Abilene Texas.   Still have it.   I was hooked.

I grew up flying paper Hi Flyer kites, early Gayla keeled kites, Puffer kites, etc.....  Not really counted until this epiphany in my life.

When your family vacations are all to kite festivals.

When the hallway of your house is covered with India, Korean, and Brazilian fighter kites instead of framed family pictures.

Going through a kite bag you find something and think "hey, I didn't know I had one of those!"

When your kite bags have letter designations: "A"bag, "B bag" etc.
