Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Well it had been raining non stop since last Tuesday, (No Kite Time Sad)we had a little break yesterday so I started a repair job on my truck, shortly thereafter it started rianing again, slipped on a stand I was useing and broke off the little plastic nip to my radiator, so I did the JB Weld on it. I quit for the day and figured I would get back on it today, well when I got up it was SNOWING (Pics below), it was so cold the JB Weld still was not Hard, waited till the snow quite to get back to work on the truck, had a small break and finished up the Altinator and belt change on the truck, JB Weld still not completly cured got heater going in engine compartment now Shocked, and started snowing again Angry Can't wait to be out flying my kites again (COME ON SUN).

it's been a late winter over the hill in Reno also... we caught the remains of this snow storm and it contributed to one of the busiest nights I've worked in the ER here in town.  Also waiting for spring and summer so I can finely fly a handful of kites I've got stashed in my bag at the moment.

Hoping your wait is shorter than ours Stephen.  In the middle of a torrential snow and ice storm we had a lightning strike here at the hospitial that took out our entire phone system.  It just got back up but it was out for a total of three and one half hours...........benn fun, as you can imagine.

We aren't expected to get into the fifties (normal daytime temps here, at this time) for at least another week and a half, or so they tell us.  Haven't wet a line in months now.
