Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Read somewhere the Mayan Calendar predicts the world will end on Dec 16, 2012.  Therefore, kitepilot and kiteflwr will not be there.

Well now, since we are now 1/2 way to KP 11, I will chime in. I will also mention that my northern neighbor's event in October is the Japan America Kite Festival, and is an excellent one from what I hear from everyone. Regarding Jim Strealy kites, I hope EVERYONE can bring one to fly in a KP Celebration of his life....

Seal Beach is a wonderful event and as always Toom Much Fun will be there to support it.  I love having these events nearby.  Just wish we had one at a beach just down the road in March.  Oh well, maybe one day!!! ;-)
