Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hello All~

A few years ago I purchased a Mamba and fell in love with the sleeve the kite came in,(I fell in love with the kite too!) I have been looking for some of that material to make my own kite sleeves but can't seem to find any. Does anyone know where I can find this material or know what exactly it is? I am hoping it comes in more than just the blue diamond design.

Any information anyone has I would greatly appreciate it!!!

I'm certain that Ken buys his fabric in bulk from a distributer... that being said.  The material you are looking for is Denier Diamond Ripstop/. It is available from a few places.  You should check with Steve at Chico Kites (our host).

IF Steve here at GWTW can't get it for you then the next best person to contact is Steve at kitebuilder.  He used to carry it and I think can still get some.  Bonnie at hang em high had some as well but there has been no word on what is happening with her lately.  YOu can also try contact Ken at BMK and see if he would be willing to make you some.
