One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Well, I did forget my sunscreen and regret it. Yup, I was refering to Ron Gibian-- he and his friend John Bowles showed up today. It was so cool to see some of Ron's kites in person. I loved how generous he was with tips and information. So awesome. I tried really hard not to slobber all over the man. It was also a great pleasure to meet Ron's friend John. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer guy.

I had a ball getting to see and talk to everyone. I can't get enough of it. Just watching all these guys fly their kites is amazing. I learn so much! The wind was on again/off again until after 5pm when it turned into winds that were likely over 20mph. After everyone else was gone, Anthony gave me some good pointers which I hope are going to stick with me.

Thanks everyone-- I had a great time.

Nancy
