Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I was shocked to see the photo.  Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh  I knew right away I had seen it before and it was John's style.  The paper is for the Macomb County of Metro Detroit area.   Which is made up of three counties.   Macomb is Blue collar workers and good people.   I get the Macomb Daily newpaper every day.  I have kept the article so I can send it to John.  I took it to "Kites and Fun Things" today also.  (Different county.) I suspect Mel helped lead to photos.  He helped with the article... Enjoy !!!!    Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Of course had to put a Vertigo spin on it....

Thanks for the info.

It's a small pleasure to see a photo of mine used to promote the sport.

It is Dave Shenkman on the Shadow.  Huh

He is quite a smooth flier on the dualies.

We just need to get him away from those evil quads.

My oops.  I don't readily recognize Dave since I met him in person for the first time this KP and didn't click on the pic  Roll Eyes.  Now the puzzle of whos in the back ground.  NOt JIm foster, beard and hat don't look quite right. Looks like he's holding quad handles though. Hmm ozone Jim maybe?  Does look vaguely familiar.

Damn these non stop rainy days got me looking for amusement wherever I can find it Tongue
