Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Wow, doesn't seem like it can comete?   Cheesy

Seriously, there is a good pilot or two behind those.  I don't mind this sail layout.  Better than the TNT.

Mathias and Thorsten should decide in the near future if this kite will be available commercially. He said first ones should go out in July if they produce it. The kite is framed in Aerostuff. Leading edges, lower spreader, and spine. The price will be about 390 Euros.

The idea behind this Kite is "one Kite, one Line ! Thats all you need". Regardless of whether you decided to fly - precision or trick, it is to his credits. This Kite is like a cross-breeding of NSR (or Fury)  and a TNT but without losing the sklills of the parents.

I own some very nice kites (like TNTs, Fearless, Furys, ...) and i have flow most of the "big" names (like Nirvana, NSR, NRG, Masque, Tranfer, SeaDeavil, Gemin, Deepspace, Veyron, Cosmic, Mamba, Matrix, ...) but there was no kite like Hugo.

After i`ve flown Hugo the first time (last years october) i chafing at the bit and wait for the relaunch date. I know guys how sell the most of their kites since they know that Hugo appears on the horizon.

Here at Berlin are three guys how ordered one, so you can look forward for some nice single, pair and Team movies in summer 2012.

And NO, i dont get some special bonus for writing this, i`m only delighted.

Its official. The Hugo kite is going to be produced. Mathias is working on a UL version as well.
I'm not sure why the Vimeo links aren't working but if you go to Vimeo and enter "busterike" in the search box you will find all the Hugo videos.

I would think so, although I'm not sure if the Hugo will be made by Alphakites, or if Mathias and Thorsten have started something new. If Thorsten doesn't pop in and answer, I'll ask Mathias.  Wink
