Anyone Hear From Shelly Hill?

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

I am trying to locate Shelly Hill.  I have not seen her at any of the Rogue Valley Windchasers weekend flys for more than a year.  If anyone has her email or other way that I can get in touch with her that would be great.  Thanks for your help.

She lives in Texas now! She is doing very well from what she says. She contacted me through myspace as she has a myspace page as well. She says she still flies kites as often as she can. She is a pain management therapist or something like that..sorry if I got that wrong. Cannot believe how grown up her kids are now!!! She still has Shane's video on her myspace page that Steve put up for her when Shane passed away...I think of Shane almost everyday and still get a feeling of sadness as he was such a inspiration and such a sweet and gentle soul! I miss him!

Miss them both. Every time I use Shane's flying handle, tears form. At least she is getting to fly some of Paul's kites. She and Shane loved the light pull.

she made me a set of 6 beautiful kite bags to replace the bulky mass-produced ones some of my kites came in.

Thanks for your help everyone.  I am GREATLY relieved that she is OK.  I was concerned because the other day when I was driving through her old neighborhood in Eureka, I noticed that the house she was living in had experienced a terrible fire.

wow i just saw this reply to the post and had no idea they had had a fire. she is still on my myspace and I will have to go find out if she was there then. I don't think she was but i will find out. I did read she is going to get married soon.. well the guy asked her to marry him..I'm not sure if that means soon or not
