One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Is it just me, or should people be encouraged to combine there listings on the Swap Meet?

I think listing many kites for sale each in it's own listing takes up space on page 1 for everyone else.

Some people like it with separate listings as it makes it easier to track the progress for each kite. It can also be a bit confusing with multiple listings in one thread.

It's difficult to please all the people all the time.  Smiley

I like when updated with "sold" in the title, after the deal is done,

if the kites are all the same (set) then one post is good,

either-wise, I like separate posts that describes/names each kite

I'm more bothered by daily "Bumps" when there's been no other activity. Most of todays (or yesterdays) bumps included a price reduction or new offer to ship free, and the reduction is listed in the new post so I didn't have to scroll up, bravo for those.

ITs a bit of a mixed bag.  Separate listings are good but IMO if you have a big list (like my 30+ kite collection listing) its better for everyone to combine them and save space on the board.  Just got to make sure your title makes note of the amount somehow so anyone looking knows there is more than one.   My biggest gripe is people not  updating the thread when the kite has sold.
