Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I'm an over-scrutinizer. I like to research, deliberate, then procrastinate until I'm 100% on everything. My question is, do I really need to search online for reviews on a ladybug kite or can I just make a purchase without stressing over it for a week? If the Sponge Bob kite I bought at Walmart for $1.27 can stay in the air, I have to assume anything in the $20-30 range sold by a kite shop is fully capable of doing the same, yes?  I guess what I'm asking for, is your permission to not be "me" for a second and have a little fun!  Wink

Even if you buy something and hate it, you can at least write a review

and warn the rest of us what we shouldn't buy.   Smiley

It's not like you are expecting it to do the next trick to save the world. These things don't axel or do flick-flacks or even rollups, no dowaps.  Nope they just fly sort of and they are cheap, most of the time.  Until you buy the 110 ft Octopus from Gomberg Kites International, then you might expect to see reviews.

I've never gotten any of those cheap Walmart kites to fly, maybe I was just unlucky.    I was thrilled when I recently got my ITW Hata and it went right up and stayed there with no problems.  Now I'm eyeing up something larger like one of those Gomberg Ghost Delta's.
