How about a Solar Eclipse fly Sunday May 20th? Chico appears to be only 60-70 miles off the best viewing line and well within the widest viewable area. I'm guessing it may happen around 5:00 PM since it's scheduled in Albuquerque at just before sunset. I'll look into the path & times more closely as I was just looking over Rhonda's shoulder when she discovered it. The Moon won't be fully covering the Sun this trip but will be an anular or "Ring of Fire" eclipse which sounds cool to me anyway.
I'm thinking we need to break out the Utopia's, Teradactyl Mamba's and of course the new Prism Zero G's for some otherworldly photos. Have to get Bob to get that Man in the Moon stack up too and maybe the Premier Canards to fill it out. What else do you have?
Sorry Toby: I know that's your Clear Lake Fly but I think your off the path, sure would love to do it over the water though
edit: hmmm ....found a different map from last night and it looks like we're further south then I saw but still inside the viewing range. Anybody know how to read these? Chico sits on the 3 minute 30 second line south of the center/optimum line.
