Morning... So I finally got around to making the rig for my drift170HD camera.....it is probably to big and overkill for it but I do have it.... so..... how do you guys store yours? Bag? Box? Loose? The lines are sort of long and so for now I have just daisy chained them up......
Thoughts?
Thanks Rob

Attach the end together (binder clip, paperclip, safety pin, etc.) This will keep your lines from getting tangled.

Rob, I keep my KAP rig and my transmitter stored in a Sterilite container from Walmart. It has a snap-on cover and was less than $5 bucks, they come in multiple sizes. I had a piece of thin foam that I put on the bottom and another that I place on top. Fits well on the shelf and I have everything I need all in one box. I have another smaller part container inside that has a small side cutter for cable ties, extra cable ties, extra screws, a small wrench, small screwdriver, and extra plastic tape. All my storage was less that $7 bucks. Works great! I keep my GoPro camera and gear in a Sterilite container - shoe size with snap-on lid. My GoPro is inside in a separate Pelican 1050 Micro Case. I sometimes use my GoPro to take KAP video and image sequences. Good luck, glad to hear there is another KAPer out there. We need our own forum area, ya that's da ticket!

I just did a test run today with a Focus Manta.....I am planning on using a New Tech Kayakite or a Kevin Shannon Battle Rok for most of the hauling.

The Manta pulled the camera's weight? That's really cool. I'm not much interested in doing the KAP-thing, but oh man, I want a Manta!!

The Manta is a super efficient kite.... and it handles gusts quite well.....
keep peeking around here for one....they pop up sometimes and usually go fast...

I use a camera case that I bought at Harbor Freight. Was very inexpensive. Buy with a 20% coupon.
My go to kite is the HQ 36 sled. Just a great flying kite and packs up easy.
