Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

You really want to know? Or should I say do I want to know?

49 days, 19 hours and 16 minutes.

Only beaten by st3307, although Steve has a couple screen names and also comes on incognito, some others spend a lot of time in the chat room but take the browser off site so their time here doesn't get logged.

13/16/43 for me but that is cumulative and I believe it reset a couple times when I didn't  have "logged in forever"  checked.

Wow, looking at those big numbers above... I don't feel so bad about my almost 19 days logged in. How long has the counter been counting ? Wasn't there a reset recently ?

the   counter   has never  been reset       each  and  every  time   you  log  on  from  the  day  you  join   the    forum  is   logged    unless  you   don't  log  in   and  look at  forum  as  a guest

No, there was a big reset in '09. Everyone had to re-register. It's only been counting for 3 years. That's the way I remember it...

Wow,these numbers are shocking!   If I could ony do this well in VF!

I would be curious to know how it is counted.  Honestly guys, I have a demanding job, family, as well as other responsibilities!  Smiley.   I do, however, check this forum several times per day - the iPhone makes it even easier I suppose.

I dunno how it logs, I posted here last night at 11:40 PM and had the forum open in either the background or foreground until 3:30 AM then back on at 7:30 AM this morning and logged into "The Forum" while I had breakfast and looked for parts for the ceiling that fan burned its speed control out last night. Of course I forgot to slam the lid and it didn't hibernate for some reason so I've been logged in for 20 hours over the last 24 but it's only added 33 minutes to my time. It must base it on some sort of activity and ignore sleepers.

Because  you   only  get  timed   while  you  are  active  on the  forum  Mike   so   if  you  come   in  and stay        for   20  min     it  times  you   for the    20  mins  plus   15  then  it  stops  the  time  till  you    go  back  active
