Just to confuse you even more

Or standard Nitro's, they are the same weight as P200's or within 1/2 gram like the 5pt's and you get the added benefit of being able to tune a bit by where you cut it. If you want a really stiff spreader cut the small end, if you want to retain more flex cut the max allowed off the large end (4"?) then finish with the small end.
It would seem the tapered rods would be lighter at the small end which would decrease momentum in spins but allow quicker acceleration, another trade-off where the effect would be so slight few could discern it while many may profess it
Also the increased flex at the small end of a 5pt won't hold as much pressure on the stand-offs which may change the curvature of the leading edge (not much on the Nirvana though since it's pretty striaght).
