One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Speaking of Hawaiians, anybody seen the Hawaiian by Kite Factory? It's a nearly exact duplicate in 1/3 size or so - 34" wingspan. Haven't flown mine yet but the coolness factor was well worth the $10.98  Cool

Mike, kiteking you need a stack of these  Wink

Is this a Maui? I have it labelled as a Hawaiian, but it looks small.

i think so, John.  It does look to be about 3/4 size.  Is that who I think it is, holding the kite?

ha ha.  I thought it was Don Tabor.  I haven't seen a photo of him in a long time so general build and facial hair was all I was going on.

I guess all kiteflyers look alike......

IIRC, it was first called a 3/4 Team Hawaiian and later a Maui.

I saw them at the local Toys R Us and was thinking a 3 stack would be pretty cool. I'll post pics when I get it flying.

I do have 2 Hawaiian team kites (one from early on I added the whisker kit and one re-make from this year) Haven't stacked them yet.

I would love to get a line on the ones from Kite Factory
