One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Not really kite related but I finally put together a series of photos I took of the solar Eclipse back on the 20th of last month, and thought I would post a pic of it.

Excellent photos - thanks for posting!  Where did you take them?  I live outside Albuquerque and the path of total occlusion passed just south of us.  Thousands of spectators came here for viewing and several public events had large turnouts.  I had to make do with a pinhole setup in my back field and I was far enough north of the path (maybe 30-40 miles) that the eclipse was only partial.  I'm still kicking myself for not ordering the solar filter for my telescope!

Nice John, we did the pinhole and binoculars focused on a piece of paper. I poked one side of the binoculars through a large sheet of cardboard to shade the paper. The coolest view to me though was the hundreds of images thrown on the wall as it filtered through the leaves.
