One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Well it was a great fall day. No wind, but warm in the hi 60. went to the beach any way. The only thing I could get to fly was my NPW 5. Some woman was walking by and I yeld at her and ask it she could take some photos for me. She did ,I told to take photos of the kite and she took photo of me flying the kite. I know there is going to be hell for this, but women never do what you tell them to do. Oh boy I am in the dog house now.

this is a very small kit, .9m2
I had a great time today. one i will remember for a long time.

A trick that helps bring the kite and pilot together for photos

is to have a very short set of lines (30 feet or less). This way

the kite can be flying, but it is much larger in comparison to

the pilot. Nice shots.  Smiley

I was showing my wife, Risa, your photo line set from the albums you shared. I will be making a set up. Without zoom compression, it seems to be the best solution!
