One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Mike and I had some fun with our Thors Hammers today at Ripon (during gusts...)

A third Thor was present, but suffered a broken LLE early on.  Cry

Many thanks to Nancy for taking the pictures

Oh cool! How did the pseudo tipstand/tower one turn out? A shame I cut off the tip of Mike's kite in that first picture. Man, the light was sure good for that time of day.

Can I just say..... Manly Men fly the Thor. lol

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with for your group routine.

I sort of axle-crashed into Allen's Thor.  Hah, sorry about that.  When it happened there was a huge boom and lighting bolts shot out everywhere, striking the water tower and splitting it in half.  Wink  Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit.

I definitely need more practice time with Thor.

Oh cool-- I just went back to see if you'd added more photos to the album and found that the tip wasn't cut off after all. Gonna upload more shots? Man, those kites were crazy!

Thanks for the photos Allen.

Glad you had enough wind to have fun with the beasts.

That was me. I have some parts to buy for Jim's kite. I may have the first to axel that day, but the last to recover.
