VF - In's, Out's and file names....

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

VF is adopting a standard file name format. It Is....

VFRound number - name - country.mov(or whatever file extension is appropiat)
So if I had entered this round it would be VF23-Yanspooner-UK.mp4(or whatever file extension is appropiat)

Also all videos will need to have 'IN' and 'OUT' clearly marked so it is explicit when scoring should start and finish.

This is to make Adrians and my tasks easier and minimise the chance of mistakes.

Just for those pilots with little video editing skills, could the IN and OUT be in the audio track instead of the video track? that way, they could simply shout IN! and OUT!, as in a real world competition?

AS long as you can hear the call I think shouting is fine. I was lazy this time and didn't add the in and out or title   I like the file name format though.  I'd also suggest that if you do add titles let us know what song your using too.  I've been impressed with the variety of music people use and have heard several songs I'd like to get.

mmm, maybe as a minimum. The most imortant thing is that it is clear and obvious.
