Hi all!
This is a preview about the CASDT (or PAV in italian), a tool that allowed the design of the Iridium stunt kite, programmed by Mario di Biase.
This allows the design of two line stunt kites using constraints of geometrical coerence and calculating the parameters of a given sail, allowing fine tuning of the stunt kite project.
Sail boundaries and points are interpolated between control points chosen by the designer.
Spar deflection calculations will be added soon (MAVCS, designed by me)
Thanks also to Doug Stout work about aerodinamic stability margins that inspired Mario for the further development of the program (will be shown in next versions).
This work is for no profit use and is still under developement
