I've had this Prism 3D for a couple years now, using it rather lightly, but over time the upper spreader and the spine have worn a small hole in the sail.
According to
this page, this is a common problem. If I had been on top of it, I would have reinforced the area (front and back) with tedlar, as recommended. But now that it's a hole, would there be a better approach?
Could I glue a diamond patch of dacron tape over the front of the sail? This would at least obscure the hole. Do the same on the back, or use tedlar there?
Sorry, I've never done a sail repair before, so I don't really know what I'm doing.
