Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Get a hold of John directly... I'm sure he'll be able to answer your question/s.

did you find this archive? http://www.kitelife.com/magazine-archive/
all of the Kitelife magazines......

I am going to guess that if it is not in there then maybe it was not kitelife or kite lines?   I think that JB had scanned in everypage of the magazines....

There are some "missing years" of KiteLife in the mid 2000s.
The article I wrote a few years ago, 2004 is missing year and I think this SD reference may be the same year.

I combed through 2005 here:

http://wayback.archive.org/web/20060101000000*/http:////////kitelife.com

but did not find it - although I only looked at the contents - was it an entire article?
