One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I have been flying for three or four months now, I have a HQ Jive II, and a Premier  Wolf both of which are awsome. I just got my new addition to my newly found obsession in and I wanted to show it off a bit.

For some reason it's cutting off the pic for me, so here is a link if you should so desire to see it.

One of the best custom patterns I've seen. Nice change from the normal.  Smiley

Great looking kite! I'm curious what flying characteristics led you to choose the Solus model.

Thanks! where I live the wind can range from almost nothing to constant 15 mph+, the Solus is 4-25 so that was one thing. Past that I wanted a high end kite that would support me in learning all the way, from videos I had seen the  Solus seemed like it had a really smooth flight and could do more tricks than I will probably ever be able to. Other than that, I thought the design was really sleek and I liked its size.

I've never really been a fan of green kites, but your kite is sharp.
Very nice indeed.

I never warmed up to the Solus patterns.  Just a bit too busy for my taste but you did a great job with the color scheme.  Seems to work well with a number of colors in addition to that stunning green one.  Saving your pic for future reference.

Thanks! I played around with the customizer for longer than I'd like to admit. Glad you like it!

Sounds good! I'd love to see what your Solus looks like, to each is their own right? I'll be looking for your post.

Non matched set here...Std is orange and UL is green.  I may end up selling the UL one of these days...

Looks great! I really like all the black and green kites I've been seeing, I haven't even though about messing with those colors. Looks like maybe something to consider if I need another set...  Cheesy

Enjoy them!
