Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

All the scores are in for round 23. There is only 0.05 of a point between 1st and second place!

If I learn enough this summer to be able to do more than one trick,* I might put something together for the next round. That should help boost you out of the basement. Wink

(*I have my pride! 90 seconds is awfully long and embarrassing when you can only do a half axel.)

Meh its all in fun. I had 2 days where the wind and time worked out and only a couple hours those days to get something.  weired weather this time around.  Grab  a cam and start filming anyway. YOu'll be surprised at how fast you learn when you can go back and watch yourself.  I might just do a goof entry next round Tongue

I still don't get how I'm 19th place when there's no 17th! Anyway having changed my flying style for this one I've kinda hit a plateau. Still need some serious practice! Smiley

Bah ha ha ha! That's awesome. The music at the end, too.

Well, I'm only halfway to a cascade. I haven't chained half axels, and I haven't done them in the center of the window. Goals set.

Go for it man - fly your way!

Personally, I would score an extremely well controlled and sharp precision entry even with no tricks rather highly.   It's nice to see the kite fly a well as trick.   I love mad tricks, but blended in with sharp intentional flying as well, it takes it to a whole new level to demonstrate complete control.
