Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

No sweat Steve.  I replied to your mail and your offer was a generous one.  Gimme a shout and hopefully you can help me (a kite novice) order some stuff for a first aid kit for my e3 and 4d.

Thanks

Steve is not from Quebec .... he is honest and reliable.  Now had you order it from North in Canada you'd have a $24.51 problem.

Can you imagine for $24.51 you get a court order from small claims court.  You feel safe cause you live so far away. and laugh to yourself.  You pulled a fast one.

However, the first time you try and enter the United States.  BINGO !!! Your name comes up on a warrant for $24.5l. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Detroit is about 1/2 mile wide river from Canada.  My friend Enzo lives there.  He's an attorney.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It's funny last night we were joking and I said I was going to run a " Kite Repair Clinic ".  We were laughing.  I asked one of the guys if he knew how to repair his kite... his answer ... "... I take it to Jon"... I started to laugh cause that is what my Clinic was going to teach.  If it breaks give it to Jon.

I saw Rob's tackle box of repair things he could build another kite or two.. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

LOL ... I have one of the large 3 drawer Plano tackle boxes with a big top storage for the repair kit but it's overflowed into numerous additional boxes & bags and you don't want to know about the bins & boxes of spars and fabrics. It's to the point that I can't find what I'm looking for ... so I just call Steve and get another one ... that's sad.

Oh and I PM'ed Sunsetflyers minutes after he posted a shop full of parts for sale to let him know I was interested. Maybe a good thing I never heard back from him.

Awesome Sugarbaker. Looks like my woodshop. I often can't fine the tool I'm looking for. I have been resisting the urge to buy another because I need the cash for kites.

I told my wife I could make kites and she could quilt so we could spend more time together. She shot me down. I don't know if I should be relieved or not.

your wife is a smart woman.

My studio is not usually in this state of chaos... but I'm in the middle of a move and have packed away many of the shelves where I store my supplies and many of my tools.  It makes me laugh to look in the room right now!  Somewhere in that room I have a few new kites I need to fly!.
