One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I've seen several of them, usually for charity, some just for fun, but in the end (no pun intended) they get a laugh.  So, I've seen the Men of the Stacks, a calendar showing men posing N*de in a Library, or then there was the Men of the Longtom Grange, posing with their vintage John Deere tractor or appropriately placed Guitar.
My wife took the following picture, fully clothed, and felt it would work well in a Men of Kiting Calendar.  It's my Bikini shot. . .

and yes, the leaf did have to be that big.

Now I'll really have to be on alert when John yells at me to fly one of his kites for a picture.
