Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Well after talking to Ron Gibian the kite was flawless. The key adjustment was to make the central spine bow with tension. It STUCK in the sky. From 5-15 mph with a Ocean south wind. Motionless. Perfect. No upper and lower tension adjustments required. Ron - the key adjustment did it all and this was a Premier <bg>.

How much bow did it need?  I have the same issues with mine.

Mine was preset, cut to proper length with a snap shackle. No adjustment.

Put the lower connector in first. The cental rod. Then the upper rod. It should not stick out at the top. Doing that it should bow pretty good.maybe six inches off the center. Then tie the central rod down in this bow position. The tension on top and bottom is about a fist in width. Obviously if it starts to move back and forth in the sky with increasing wind more tension in the upper and lower spreaders. No tail required.
