One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Chicagoland had three 100+ days in a row last week and we were 95+ for 8 days. Very unusual for here. No need to convince us. Were in the middle of a drought too. The farmers are getting real scared after a couple years of bumper crops and profits.

I heard today's high was expected to be 116 and the high heat warning started at 10 am till 10 pm  Embarrassed

The low was 90 last night, felt a wave of heat when I open the back door to let the cats out at 6:30 this morning  Huh

Boy do I miss that heat in Tucson....

Brookings.. 70's all week. mid 50's overnight.. morning fog is keeping the SOKF kite-field nice and moist. 10 days till the fliers arrive

Beat the heat and join the spectators for the 20th year of this Brookings-Harbor festival

Rather the heat of summer than the snow and cold of winter.

At least we don't have to shovel the heat off our driveways.  Smiley

Can I borrow your driveway this winter so I won't have to shovel it? Priority mail plus insurance please.

On the flip side, you can bundle up in winter.

You can only take off so much before the neighbors call the police.

That said, I really like Spring/Fall the best.
