One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

I will be visiting Portland tomorrow and I am wondering where are the best places for kite flying...the places JB made all the rev flying instructional videos.  Thanks. D

The water is pretty high in the river so dock flying could be a little dicy.  Smiley
West Delta Park is across from the dog park near the entrance to Portland International Raceway is the usual spot.

The weather is ... uncertain. But come to the beach! Seaside and Lincoln City aren't that far away!

theres one other place , marine drive across from the airport just west of the sea scout marina small field on the river , max 2 flyers , not much pedestrens this time of year , ray
