One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Dan’s Papers 40th Annual Kite Fly

DETAILS:
Dan’s Papers annual Kite Fly will take place on Sunday, August 5th at Sagg Main Beach in Sagaponack. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. for attendees with a Town of Southampton parking sticker and 6 p.m. for attendees without a sticker, kites in hand and up in the air before 6:00 for judging. This casual kite competition runs until about 7:30 p.m. with judging closed at 7:00. The Kite Flying fun is accompanied by face painting, jugglers, magicians, and entertainment by The Jim Turner Band.

Starts at 5:30 PM on a Sunday ? Who planned this ?
