Had two up yesterday when almost nothing else would fly. Wonderful flyers! Even a Laima was marginal at the time.

I have one that stays in the back of my car at all times. It flies when nothing else does. My favorite flight with it was still foggy morning on the Washington coast. Air so still you could watch the water drops hang in the air and move ever so slowly. I put the LL Rok up for about 15 minutes before the line became too heavy with water to stay up. The kite was wonderful and everyone was amazed that anything could be flown on that day.
Hang the tail on it and it does wonderfully in most winds.

I'm tempted to get this kite so I'd have something to fly in very low winds. I just know It'll kill me deciding on what colors to get. What's the minimum line strength recommended for this kite?

a tease i know..but they are sure pretty.... just slide a .2200 (iirc) over the spine of the first kite to support a stack and you are good to go! I have flown a 9 stack...it was awesome...and i think that Jon T had a 20+ stack for awhile too...

We did a lot of custom colored ones....I am certain that Jon would build what you like! the teal/raspberry ones were made for the shop owner....wish i had kept that stack....but......i have this stack instead: Same sized roks....a bit heavier though...those are Ty Billings Punk Roks....

Thanks for all of those pics thief. I love the ones with black as the background color as it makes the design colors really pop.
