One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

When its really sunny out Lam's signature really "shines" on his kites. I own one ... was talking to Lam recently ... he is starting to put vent windows on SUL's from some recent feedback ... any idea why?

Probably the biggest reason is the smile it put on our faces yesterday when Tom and I flew our new Transformer SUL vent...........It makes for a super smooth low wind flyer that will also reach up to fifteen, no problem.  The venting really smooths out bumpy inland winds and doesn't seem to change the low wind capabilities much.

Why did Lam call it the Devil 3.5 L on Facebook the other day?  It looks to be normal sized...

Thanks guys,

Justin, you would have to ask Lam - I just told him that I wanted a 'top top shelf wine' sort of Fearless this time and he did the rest!

You guys really pushed me to it with all these sweet looking pictures that you have been posting!  Smiley.  I've had it out a few times now - very satisfying indeed both in form and function.

You should come to WSIKF sometime.   Lam will often build and bring a few special kites with him when he can attend the festival.  2 years ago a forum member here got one that I still think about.   He had several beauties that year, but I was out of discretionary funds at the time!

I get to see John flying it every year - this year, I will be flying this one with him.
