We do this every year!  Smiley
Every time (especially this time of year) we are at Wal Mart, Target, etc, we check out the toy section for kites.

We keep a whole bag full of kites for girls and boys and let them choose which one they like best.
Then show them how to assemble and attach line, make sure it flies, and let them take it with them.

It really is fun.

+1!

Unfortunately, the local K-Mart had none of the X-Kites dual-lines in stock this year (at least none left at the end of the season).
