One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Is a Sea Angel...because it's just a single panel...cheaper than an SD?  Certainly seems like it should be.

Nice kites.

Hi Obi
Thanks a lot.
I'm really not sure what to tell you as a right answer, because I order from Lam some other things plus and he put me some stuff too which he thought I may need.
I think it would the best to e-mail Lam about that question.
Thank You very much for understanding Obi

Best

Sea Angel don't look as a all white kite for me. Well it is all white BUT leading edge trailing edge, stand offs connectors, patch under upper spreader, T-centar and end part of tail are black. So that black frame give very good look . it is finnesse. Thats  was my goal for this  custom kite.
That color difference would be unseen if kite is all black
Also all white color is wonderfull for SUL for my taste.
Why SD SUL.
Very simple, stadard work for me and one very important thing is that SD has large sail. So SD std i can fly on very low wind but SD SUL use very very low wind  to fly.
Winds were are live for SUL are weak so large sail is important for me.
Sea Angel has less pull then std. It is a floaty kite but not to slow. Don't think floaty =too slow. Still we are talking about trick kite, precize too. Also If You fly kite on very low wind, flying is not just tricks-it is combination between precise and tricks. very low wind here don't let me to much connected tricks so I need to go up to get altitude again. For that Sea Angel is good.
Interesting thing - flare to fade transition is lovely. You don't need any SUL technik just must be more gently. No dead spots during transition. Cascade are tricky on SUL but on Sea Angel are very nice and much easy to do. I notice that SD and Sea Angel have great control when the nose is away from a pilot - during cascade. That control is very important to me or to say very crucial. Sea Angel keep that feeling...
Kite weight 235 gr. Standard around 305gr.
Still, I need more fly time... I never had standard kite and SUL kite but same design. I have now.  Smiley
Does it fly like SD? Very offen SUL can be different from std. We all read about those difference...
I was thinking about that before  order it. Difference exist because Sea Angel  is in SUL category,  still Sea Angel is the kite which is moust similar to std. but in SUL variant then any other kite..
So I order it and got what I wish. Kite with unique sd touch wonderfull Jacobs Ladder just sloooow, kite with same blood as SD std.  Wink

quick question:
so the sea angel is just your choice of an all white sea devil? or is it a new design?
