Hello,
Remember back to april fools day and the listing for "bacon spread"Huh  It was a joke, but this bacon jam is for real, and VERY good.  Check it out.  http://skilletstreetfood.com/baconjam.htm

Looks like a tasty heart stopper. Didn't Elvis eat something like that but with coffee mixed in?  Huh

Cheers,
Mike

Funny this should come up. I was watching the 11pm news and there was a story of someplace in the NW (Washington I thinK) that made Bacon Vodka, called 'BaKon.'

Matter of fact I just dug up the link.

http://www.bakonvodka.com/   Now I can make liquid BLTs. Somehow I think it wouldn't be bad in a Bloody Mary.

Bakon vodka and tomato juice.  Sounds YUMMY  I did check the grocery stores in my area, but they don't have the J & D's bacon salt in stock, so I ordered it directly from J & D's online store.  2 days and counting before it arrives.  My 5 year old Ashley already has plans to spice up her popcorn when it arrives...LOL

Debbie,
I looked in the stores around me for some J & D's bacon salt, but no one had any in stock so I mail ordered their "bacon lover's gift pack".  It arrived today.  I especially love the bacon and cheddar salt over popcorn.  Most yummy...lol

Thanks Again

thats what i started with too.. I use the big pig now in hickory..  my most favorite is the jalapeno bacon.. i use it on sliced fresh tomatoes and zucchini then throw in some crumbled goat cheese..thats my morning snack most work days.  I just ordered the maple flavor to try it and i love the cheddar on popcorn!

I think I would like the vodka with tomato juice too.. add a bit of the jalapeno bacon salt..  ohhh  sounds too good!

I love the different flavors, but I really wish they made a bacon and onion flavor... Roll Eyes
