Last week would have been my daughter Caity's 21st birthday. One of the many things her sisters and I did that day was fly a very special kite on the beach.
This kite was a present for Caitlin's 7th birthday, in 1998. While looking for a nice, decorative dragon like the ones I flew in the '70s, I came across Gone With The Wind Kites, just up the road from here. The rest, as they say, is history.
It's a classic 25' Whitebird Sunface Dragon. Still my favorite face design of all the Whitebirds. Always wanted a bigger version.

All wrapped up to go. It's normally hanging in the house as decoration, but fun to get into the air on special occasions.
