One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Last week would have been my daughter Caity's 21st birthday. One of the many things her sisters and I did that day was fly a very special kite on the beach.

This kite was a present for Caitlin's 7th birthday, in 1998. While looking for a nice, decorative dragon like the ones I flew in the '70s, I came across Gone With The Wind Kites, just up the road from here. The rest, as they say, is history.  Smiley

It's a classic 25' Whitebird Sunface Dragon. Still my favorite face design of all the Whitebirds. Always wanted a bigger version.

A bit of fighter-like flying while bringing it down.  Cool

All wrapped up to go. It's normally hanging in the house as decoration, but fun to get into the air on special occasions.
