Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Debates can be certainly be engaging, fun, spirited, challenging, as well as frustrating to some participants. This one (AKA Membership) appears to be no exception. I am curious to learn something specific, that is, whether such discussions actually change anyone's viewpoint including engendering an opinion where none may have previously existed. It is admittedly a small sample, but it might be worth assessing such interchanges, from time to time, and the extent to which they achieve their purpose, that is, persuading another party to adopt a different stance on an issue than was held at the outset.

Definition: "support" and "supportive" means financially through the payment of annual membership dues (intention to act qualifies).

Shouldn't there be a response -
Supported before and will continue to support.

Not sure which of you responses echo that sentiment.

My intention was that, "I have not changed my viewpoint..." should satisfy that condition.

The poll is to learn about changes in opinion; so, if you started non-supportive and remain non-supportive, it's the same (for this purpose) as starting supportive and remaining so after the discussion.
