A buddy of mine has a Prism Flashlight with the standoffs missing. Can anyone give me their length?  Thanks a ton!

I have two Flashlights and they each have different standoff attachments to the LS. One uses grabbers that clip on to the LS, the other is the more traditional APA style. The standoffs appear to be the same length on both. The inner standoff is 9.25" and the outer is 6.50". This length is for the spreader rod itself, not including the fittings.

Thanks a lot, Charles and Kent!  Smiley  A diameter of 0.080 / 2 mm appears a tad skinny. Are the standoffs supposed to be curved?  If not, I'll try the next bigger size I have available.  Would be 3 mm, I think.

The kite has APA-style connectors on the LSs, and I'll try E2-style sail grabbers.

Cheers,

Jan

The specs above are what Prism uses and what is on my kite.  They are curved a little.  You can of course put a larger standoff rod in the kite.

Well, once I can motivate said buddy to stop by with his kite, I'll decide by gut feeling whether to use the manufacturer's spec or sturdier stuff. It is the usual scenario where you may be able to improve or ruin a design, or find that it really does not matter. Thanks anyway for the help!
