Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The link took me to your album-- no map.  I had a good time looking at all of the kites. So where were you?

Ah..should have been a map on the right....
I was flying on a rock at Savage River in Denali National Park in Alaska.....bit of  a trip for us...but it was great.

line:
I use some 30 or 50# spectra line (not certain what it is) that came with an original Guildworks Deca...Marc had access to some nice cool line...it is braided with another color spectra filament....the kite has more than enough lift for it....

I would go with any line 30# and below Dacron, any spectra you have lying around (up to 150# would not make a difference in flight), fighter kite line, or a number of people are using flying fishing backing (IIRc 10#?)

Denali!  How cool is that!  I was (and am now) viewing things on my phone so it's possible I wasn't  seeing things the way they were meant to be seen.
