One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

So I did a couple trades recently (thanks Ray & Harvey) and ended up with a DS UL and my old Gem UL which originally came from Martijn...

same colors!  Huh Almost looks like they were bought as a set originally.  I swear I didn't plan this, just worked out this way.. weird!  One came from the Netherlands, one from the UK.

This is the 2nd time something like this has happened to me.  Thought it was worth sharing.

I love the way kites come and go and come back again sometimes.

Well they look cool...
What do they call that lighter blue?

Is it light blue or that Caribbean color they used to make?

I am dying to know how the DS UL flies.  Have you had it out yet?  Mine is supposed to be here any day now & I can hardly stand the waiting.

Only have a few minutes on the DS UL so far, but it flies great!

Not exactly sure on the lighter blue Kirby.  I think it's just "light blue" on the colorizer.  Gem UL is the blue/grey fade listed on the Benson site, but the DS UL was a custom.

thanks,
  Mike

Can't wait until mine shows up-- am on pins'n needles. Now you need to get a DS standard, Mike. You'll love it!

Nancy,
I picture you sitting on the front porch, wait for your package from Mr Benson.  Wink
