Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Check out this video of the Cosmic Ghost. In the last 15 seconds or so, what is the trick called when the flier is launching the kite in the backwards/reverse angle and makes it go to the top of the window? And how is it done?

lifter, also heard it called elevator. Sanos are great for them in the right wind.
Seen some done with very small pulls and then small correction, gives a kite a slight wiggle, see others done with just the right tension and back peddles

Don't be surprised if you can't do them though, not all kites can, many just don't sit deep enough in a turtle to provide enough lift to rise.

Maybe we can get some input on which kites people have had success with.

Obviously the Ghost, and the Soul is another I've seen. I would guess the Prism Zephyr since it does sit very deep and is pretty light but I've never tried it. I've not had any luck with anything I own personally.
