getting ProWren & Amazing out of a fade

I have a couple of old shool SUL that once I put the in the fade. I struggle to get them out.

The ProWren will lock in the fade and stay there forever.

With the Amazing, no backspin, but I can rock it out fade with the nose pointing toward the ground.

The Pro Wren takes a good 30 feet to go from fade to pancake.

You may want to move the bridle tow points closer together.

That way the lines will rest closer to the nose and aid in pulling

the kite out of a fade.

The ProWren will lock in the fade and stay there forever.

The standard approach with most of this style of kite is to get the kite moving towards you then step under the kite such that you're now facing the opposite direction and the kite is semi-wrapped. A smooth pull should flip the kite back into a normal flying orientation. I will refer you to this description from The Depths of Time.

Almost anything else takes up more airspace than you'll have available with an indoor setup.

Another way to go about it with kites that really lock into a fade is to pull one line to get the kite sideways and pull the other line to stand it up and fly out in the direction it is now pointing.

Or.

You can pull one line and slack, and when the nose is pointed away pull both lines - the kite will rotate towards you - and fly it out pointing Upwards.
