sew worn out FC nose?

If the nose is basically in good shape and the issue has to do with lines catching on the nose, then you can try using nylon repair tape to give a smooth finish over the problem areas.. I've used this on my French Connections. This is not a permanent fix, but it only takes a couple minutes to put the tape in place, and it will last for many flying sessions. You can simply take off the old tape and reapply new tape when you need to.

If the issue is just a protruding corner, you could remove or smooth it with a hot cutter or soldering iron.

I've done this successfully on several kites.
If the nose is split you can in fill with a two part epoxy resin.
Since this takes a while to set you can mould in any gaps.
Leave to dry and use the solder iron to smooth out a catches or nicks.
