One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I have been reading through the kites for sale for some time now and I was wondering what kites the people that are reducing their inventory wont part with?

I've kept everything but an E2 and a 3/4 Hawaiian. A guy saw me flying a SUL dualiner and stopped to ask questions, since he was going to vacation at the beach the following week. He was going to buy an E2, so I pulled mine out of the bag to show it to him. I gave him as many tips as I could think of to help him out. All of a sudden he asks if he can buy mine so he won't have to shop, so I sold it to him.

I gave the 3/4 Hawaiian, line set, and ground stake to a kid at Lincoln City. A young family with three boys and a baby were trying to make a pos plastic kite fly. It was amazing the patience the whole family had as each boy waited his turn to try to make it fly. I hadn't flown the kite in years and figured they needed it more than I did. I was flying up wind a ways and it was fun to see the kite back in the air. It had no fading, so the colors really popped against the sky.
