Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Like Bill & others, it's the sentimental kites that will never go. What's different for me, in many cases by coincidence or happy accident, is these old sentimental kites are still the first ones out of my bag.

I've churned through all kinda newer kites and have never found any I couldn't part with. Mostly because they are more available. I'll pick up another DeepSpace for sure some time.

The kites I'll hang onto forever also tend to have little retail value, so there would be no point in selling them anyway I might gift one in a special situation, but few would appreciate 'em.

PBSK Stiletto - Too many stories, coincidences and good Karma mixed in here. More hours on this one than any other.

HQ Midi 3PT - A gift out of the blue from someone who knew I needed it. #2 all time kite as well.

Reactor Pro - #3 all time kite and first Comp kite.

Prism Prophecy - Flown in Pairs comps. I may wear this kite out in the long run. It's #4 with a bullet.

Vent & SUL Bad Boys from the Comp days. Lotsa stories behind these. Prodigal kites.

Prism Vector - First kite. Still fun. It learned to backspin at some point.
Prism Micron - Second kite. Will always be in the bottom of the bag for a semi-annual buzz.
