One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Miguel Rodriguez will be in town next week from the 25th to the 28th with his,

wait for it,

2nd and 3rd generation prototypes of his newest kite.

Here are the emails below.

Hi John,

It's been a long time, how are you and Bamby (spl?) my friend?

I'm planning to be in Las Vegas from the 25th to the 28th (next week) with a second and third generation of the prototype you guys flew last Jan. Could you give me the email for that young man Joe, I believe that's his name, who was tricking the prototype first gen. I had then...? Or you could give him mine: cawasp (at) .  And naturally I would love to share the wind with you guys there!

Best wishes!

Hi Miguel,

I am sending copies of this to the local fliers.
We'd love to see and fly with you.

I have a new job so will only be able to fly evenings (6-11 PM) with you.
The best place would probably be the park where we met for KTAI,
New Silverbowl Park.

Joe hasn't been coming to the Friday Night flies for several weeks,
but he'll be one copied to. I'll also post this on the GWTW Forum.

I look forward to seeing you.

Your friend,

Here is Miguel with his 1st prototype at KTAI 2012:

Wow.  The 1st generation was impressive.   Smiley

Dang, I'm too far. I finally, after 20 years of admiring Wasp flyers, got to fly one of Miguel's kites, I hope one of you will post some impressions on his new designs. If they retain some of his old preferences with some of today's capabilities they would be something I'd be very interested in.
