One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Here are a few responses I got while trying to find AirX:
from Bainbridge:

"Hi Stuart,

Thank you for the inquiry.
Sailrite is a distributor that handles our products. If they don't have it in stock they can special order it from us."

from Sailrite:

"We do not stock AIRX nylon.  There would be a 10 yard minimum for special order materials AIRX 600N $21.00/yd,  AIRX 500N $24.00/yd.  Special order materials typically ship out in @10 days.
Best Regards,"

Are there any better options for this stuff out there? I think purchasing >$200 worth of nylon for a recreational project is a little crazy.

This price is crazy, i bought my Airx500 from a local distributor at 12 per meter included VAT. The minimum order was 5 meters so i bought it. I'm quite happy about this material. It is very good and light. I've used it for designing my own polivalents and will probably use it for future designs.

We at Super Sailmakers sell Bainbridge AIRX, Challenge Fibermax and Elite.  We typically have small amounts of each in stock and order for larger jobs, but we get shipments weekly.  We're in Fort Lauderdale, so shipping to people in Florida (except panhandle) is next-day as UPS Ground, and we're close to I-95 in case anyone wants to stop by.  Anyone interested, reply, or if more appropriate, contact me offline at  Sorry for the rather blatant ad, but if there's a need for a source out there, we're happy to fill it.
