Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Wind was a bear ... You can see in Photos in the background the Surf Kiters were out in large numbers... 15mph ...

So we worked and got through it.  More Half Axels, but these were a blast in high wind.  Raining today...  :'( :'(

I was flying my Solus Ul in the other video Justin was right.

This is the Standard.

One important thing I learned about the Half Axels... Taking a step forward with the opposite foot first.  So the right side I step with my left foot.  That seemed to take that little bit of extra slack.  It allowed for the sail to lean back and the air to pop out of the sail.  I flew those high winds back and forth for an hour. Just could not stop...  The window was so larger and the kite tracked well, when I didn't screw up...  Grin Grin

One thing I found with my Solus (in the brief time I had it) is that it was really good at the 1/2 axel cascade. It was the first kite that I was able to do a rising Cascade. Your 1/2 axels on the side closest to the camera looked really good.
